Seeking cardiac arrest survivors and family members of survivors to provide input on a new research study

Sam Parnia, MD, PhD, Director of Critical Care and Resuscitation Research at NYU Langone Health, and his team plan to conduct a study designed to help improve survival from sudden cardiac arrest. Researchers will be studying a novel treatment that will be provided to patients, in addition to standard of care resuscitation treatment. The research team is seeking cardiac arrest survivors and family members of survivors to participate in focus groups to discuss the study protocol.

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation is collaborating with NYU Langone to help recruit survivors and family members of survivors who would be willing to participate in focus groups to discuss the research in greater detail.

Focus groups are scheduled for:

  • June 24, 1-3 pm ET
  • July 1, 1-3 pm ET
  • July 8, 2-4 pm ET
