EMPOWERING HEARTS TO SAVE LIVES: From Awareness to Action

February is American Heart Month, and we need your help to raise awareness! Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when the heart stops beating. SCA affects about 1,000 people every day and is a leading cause of death in the United States, with only about 1 in 10 surviving.

The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation (SCAF) is working to change this by educating the public about the importance of CPR and AED intervention. With intervention, a person’s chance of survival can be doubled or tripled. This February during American Heart Month, we aim to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest; and educate and empower individuals to learn the facts about SCA and the importance of taking life-saving action.

Join this important cause and help us #EmpowerHeartsToSaveLives! Please see below for our Heart Month toolkit.
