We are proud to share that Jana Bonassi, sudden cardiac arrest survivor, advocate, author, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation Ambassador, recently competed in the Mrs. World competition in Las Vegas, representing Brazil on the international stage.
Jana continues to use her voice and platform to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of preparedness, CPR, and AED access. Her advocacy reaches far beyond the pageant world—she is a passionate champion for heart safety and survivor support.
We were grateful that SCAF board chair, Joe Farrell, DPT, and his wife, Edie, traveled to Las Vegas to support Jana during the competition. While there, they also had the opportunity to be interviewed for Jana’s upcoming documentary, Heart of Hope, set to be released later this year. The film will share Jana’s powerful story of survival, resilience, and purpose.
Jana is also the author of the book Heart of Hope, generously dedicating a portion of the proceeds to support the mission of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.
Jana, thank you for all that you do to elevate awareness, inspire hope, and advance lifesaving action around the world. We are honored to have you as part of the SCAF family.
