The sun shone brightly on heart advocates from across the nation as they gathered in Washington, D.C. May 30-June 1 for the National CPR & AED Awareness Rally & March. Hearts were screened, AEDs were donated, and 1,794 participated in a World Record CPR Relay. “Together we can and will save lives from sudden cardiac arrest,” said Ed Kosiec of Every Second Counts CPR, who has spearheaded the annual event since 2020.
