Matthew collapsed at the dining room table after an irregular heartbeat was detected on a blood pressure cuff. Matthew had a low heart rate just before experiencing ventricular fibrillation and sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). Kenyon heard Matthew hit the floor and came rushing downstairs to find him agonal breathing.
Quick Action & CPR
Kenyon immediately called 911 and began performing hand only CPR until paramedics arrived.
Matthew is forever grateful for Kenyon’s intervention, without which he would not be here today.
