Darryl Conway, Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Health & Welfare Officer, University of Michigan Athletics, has been elected to serve on the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation Board of Directors. In his role at UM, he oversees Athletic Medicine, Performance Science, Performance Nutrition, Athletic Counseling / Sports Psychology, Olympic Strength and Conditioning, and Equipment Operations personnel. In addition, he serves as a liaison to the Team Physicians from Michigan Medicine and the University of Michigan University Health Services.
Darryl is a 2024 inductee into the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Hall of Fame, a volunteer EMT, and an American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED instructor trainer.
