I was getting my four-year-old daughter, Athena, ready for preschool, when she heard me collapse in the bathroom. Her dad had already left for work. She called 911 and stayed on the line until EMS arrived and unlocked the front door to let them in. I absolutely would not have survived if she hadn't called 911.
