Community Ambassador

Walter Watts is a Community Ambassador for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. Previously, he was Marketing & Communications Associate at the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. Prior to this, he was a content strategist at VMLY&R's Content Studio, working with brands like Ford and Colgate. After graduating from the College of the Ozarks with a BA in psychology, he has devoted his professional career to emboldening content strategy as the meeting point of data and the human experience.
Walter is a sudden cardiac arrest survivor. After an idiopathic diagnosis, he dove into self-study to learn everything he could about SCA, and led to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. Since his introduction in 2012, Walter has acted as a community ambassador and public speaker for the SCAF. He currently resides in Kansas City with his cat Defib, and a life devoted to volunteerism.
