Katherine Lupton is the spouse of a cardiac arrest survivor, and is a founding member of the Oregon Chapter of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. Katherine received her M.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University and her M.A. in Spanish from Portland State University. Katherine has been a language teacher for many years, and has taught in public schools in Madrid, Spain, Baltimore, Maryland, and most recently in Portland, Oregon. Katherine lives in Oregon with her husband and their three children.
