Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation representatives presented “Multi-disciplinary perspectives on improving cardiac arrest survivorship and launch of a novel peer-support community” at the Citizen CPR Foundation's international Cardiac Arrest Survival Summit in San Diego. Joe Farrell, Alex Presciutti, PhD, Mary Newman, Sarah Perman, MD, and Steve Ogilvie presented an overview of the Cardiac Arrest Survivor Alliance (CASA), SCAF's online community for cardiac arrest survivors, co-survivors, lay rescuers, and advocates. Farrell and Ogilvie described their lived experiences as survivors and their survivorship journeys. Presciutti, Perman, and Newman described the research behind CASA, its status, and its benefits. 

To date, CASA has attracted nearly 1,200 members from 24 countries.
