We are honored to welcome Hailey Yentz as a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation Ambassador.

Hailey is a sudden cardiac arrest survivor, former collegiate student-athlete, and passionate advocate for CPR and AED awareness. A lifelong competitive distance runner, Hailey earned all-state honors in high school and continued her athletic career on a track scholarship at East Carolina University. In February 2025, she suffered sudden cardiac arrest on campus due to an undiagnosed genetic heart condition, ARVC (arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy). She survived thanks to the immediate actions of athletic trainers who performed CPR and used an AED.

In her role as SCAF Ambassador, Hailey will help advance the Foundation’s mission by sharing her story, promoting CPR and AED education, and encouraging greater awareness of sudden cardiac arrest awareness and preparedness nationwide.

“Surviving sudden cardiac arrest showed me how quickly life can change and how important it is for people to be prepared. CPR and access to an AED saved my life, and I want to use my story to help others understand that anyone can make a difference by learning these lifesaving skills.” — Hailey Yentz
