ECCU 2014The ECCU (Emergency Cardiovascular Care Update) 2014 conference is now accepting presentations and there are special sessions for survivors, families and rescuers. Come share your story, honor your rescuers and meet the scientists and community champions who are all gathering at ECCU, June 3-6, 2014 in Las Vegas.

ECCU is a biennial conference featuring current information and trends on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). ECCU brings together every link in the “chain of survival” for the nation’s most lethal killer: sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). Survivors play a special role at the conference. This year’s theme is the "Road to the Next ECC and CPR Guidelines,” with a major focus on “Saving Lives through Community Engagement”. ECCU 2014 will feature the Survivor Track about Community: Prepare, Respond, Survive & Thrive (CPR and AED Issues). The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation is helping to develop the Survivor Track.

Applications to present at ECCU are due October 18. To see the Call for Presentations, click here.

The Citizen CPR Foundation (CCPRF) is a non-profit organization with the mission to save lives from sudden death by stimulating citizen and community action. Its founding partners are the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. ECCU is the Foundation’s dynamic biennial conference that promotes and celebrates the art, science, and impact of cardiac resuscitation.
