The Citizen CPR Foundation has named Mary Newman, president and co-founder of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, as an “Advocate for the Cause” on their new website.

 

As CCPRF notes, “Successful programs that train more people, educate on the importance of best practice and create sustainable community participation are the bedrock of increased survival rates. Those programs don’t happen without passionate people helping to drive them forward.

 

CCPRF recognized three advocates:

  • Local Grassroots Champion: Pamela Foster, AED Institute of America
  • Thought Leader, Mickey Eisenberg, MD, University of Washington
  • Key Advocate, Patient and Family Groups: Mary Newman, MS, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.

"It is truly an honor to be recognized by the Citizen CPR Foundation as an advocate for the cause along with Pam Foster and Dr. Mickey Eisenberg," said Newman. "I have been privileged to work with many advocates and thought leaders over the years and to serve patients and families affected by sudden cardiac arrest.
