Amy Vollman is a cardiac arrest survivor who survived an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest while running in September of 2023. She discovered that she had a previously undiagnosed heart defect that caused the cardiac arrest and now lives with an implanted ICD. After making a full recovery, Amy became an advocate for CPR/AED training and is active in her community to raise awareness. Amy continues to run to stay in shape, and lives with her husband and four kids in Portland.
