Janese Nichols, DNP, RN, CEN, NPD-BC, has over ten years of experience in emergency nursing and clinical education and two years in the medical device industry, focusing on education in resuscitation and other time-sensitive emergent conditions. Inspired from a young age to work in the emergency care setting, she shifted her focus early in her nursing career to resuscitation practices and CPR awareness in the community.

Janese collaborates with leading experts to facilitate education on best practices and innovative concepts in emergency care and resuscitation. Education includes interactive virtual and in-person learning sessions for hospital and prehospital organizations globally. She seeks unique and creative opportunities to enhance learning for healthcare providers and community members. 

She received her Masters in Nursing Education from Western Governors University in 2017 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Public Health Policy from Nebraska Methodist College in 2020. 

Janese is firmly committed to community outreach, particularly cardiac arrest awareness and preparedness, and using objective data to improve CPR performance and outcomes within the hospital and prehospital environment. Another strong passion of hers is addressing healthcare disparities in underserved communities. 

Janese resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, and has two children: her daughter Quinn and her son Randy.
