Milford High School hockey player Tyler Symes is moving forward with his recovery following a hard hit that actually stopped the 15-year-old's heart during a hockey game.

Symes was struck in the chest by a hockey puck on December 21st.

Medical teams used a defibrillator to re-start the teen's heart.

Tyler's family says the teenager has now been moved to Spaulding Rehab in Boston where he is quote getting stronger and better everyday.

A fund has now been started in Tyler’s name to help schools purchase the kind of defibrillators they say saved Tyler’s life.
