The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Coalition, an ad hoc group of more than 40 nonprofit organizations that focus on some aspect of sudden cardiac arrest, have endorsed the Josh Miller HEARTS (Helping Everyone Access Responsive Treatment in Schools) Act, which would enable every elementary and secondary school in the U.S. to install automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
