Survivors and Loved Ones Invited to Cardiac Arrest Survival Summit

Sudden cardiac arrest survivors and their loved ones are invited to attend the Citizen CPR Foundation's Cardiac Arrest Survival Summit, December 10-13 in Seattle. The Summit will feature a special track for survivors, a Rock ‘n Roll celebration, and a mass CPR training event.

In addition, a hospitality suite will be available to welcome survivors and loved ones on December 11 and 12 from 2:45-4:00 pm. Participants will have an opportunity to connect with their peers, find support and discuss ways to help save more lives. Discussions will be facilitated by Mary Newman, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, and Steve Tannenbaum, Parent Heart Watch. Information resources will be provided by the Citizen CPR Foundation, Parent Heart Watch, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation.

Special conference registration fees are available for survivors ($60/day, $175 full conference).

Survivors and family members are also invited to an exclusive free tour of the nearby Stryker campus, home of the LIFEPAK® monitor/defibrillator manufacturing facility, the morning of December 11. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the innovative AED technology and see how they are created and assembled. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided.
