The “Chip In for Sudden Cardiac Arrest” golf tournament on June 5th at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Florida, was a great success. “This year's tournament raised a total of $31,018.32 for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation and the American Heart Association – Florida,” said Kaitlin Ryan, who, together with her family, organized the tournament to help raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest.
Kaitlin became a champion for the cause after she saved her father’s life with CPR on a golf course last year when she was 15.
“We could not be more grateful to Kaitlin and the Ryan family for their tremendous support,” said Henry Jampel, MD, MHS, Chair, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation Board of Directors. “We extend special thanks to Medtronic, the 2021 Title Sponsor.”
