In 6 days I will be celebrating one year of life after caridac arrest. I will be celebrating with the nurses as we run together as a relay team at the Akron Marathon. Here is the link to my story which is a quick version of my comeback after collapsing at the Akron Marathon in 2012. I am so lucky and thankful to be here.

One other item.... I just started working to get CPR taught in Ohio Schools. Any ideas on how to make my goal happen????

Very best wishes on your anniversary! We are so happy that you are well.
Thank you so much for sharing your story.

We applaud your interest in getting all Ohio schools to teach CPR. Our You Can Save a Life at School campaign is designed to help local advocates promote this important cause. Please see www.sca-aware.org/schools to download a copy of this booklet. We would be happy to send you print copies. Send an email to info@sca-aware.org to request copies.

Also, check out our SCA Network to find others in Ohio who share your passion (http://www.sca-aware.org/sca-network).
Terry Gordon, DO, and Linette Derminer are among those who would be more than willing to help.
