I know I probably won't spell some words correct so I apologize in advance.

It was May 17th, 2010 I was 16 and going into the final few weeks of my junior year in high school. It was towards the end of my 1st class of the day. I had come in early that morning to catch up on work for that class anyways I barely remember that morning even 4 years later. I do remember talking to my sister and her friend though. Anyway it was towards the end of class when I apparently collapsed an was slumping on some computers in the classroom. It was due to my teacher and one of the security guards on campus that my life was saved that day :). I would also like to thank Oregon City High School DECA team for providing several more AED's throughout the entire school. The reason I'm posting my story on here is to get guidance an advice on what to do with my life. Because at the moment I am going through a rough patch in life an I believe it to be because of my death. So what I'm asking for is some help from anyone and everyone thank you

Brandon

Way to go for surviving Brandon!

I am so very glad to hear that you are still around and I am very happy to hear that you survived.

I can imagine a rough patch or two would be all but expected after everything you went through. It can be hard to wrap your mind around everything, and I know from experience that recovery is not limited to just the physical side of things.

The good news is there are a lot of us survivors out there, and with people becoming more aware or SCA, our numbers are growing.

I don't know if I can be of much help other than saying I understand the rough patch you are going through and I am here if you need anything. My name is Walter Watts and my email is wjpwatts@gmail.com.

Thank you again for being a survivor!

Glad to hear you survived such an event. It is tough to go through the process, it does get easier with time, but any life changing event such as this will always be with you. Try to see the positives it has given you and focus on the future. You were saved for a reason. I believe everything in our lives happens for a reason good and bad. I hope you continue to improve and life treats you well
